Have installed a licensed copy of the Fogbugz/Kiln .. fogbugz seems to be working OK, but I can't create a Kiln repository..either from a server or remote browser..it just sits there as described in the online Kiln issue: Creating repository waits indefinitely [closed]

Looked at the file system, and it appears repository folders are created each time, but the error file in the kiln repositories folder reports an error each time: 2010-07-30T13:46:17.650000 Backend exception:

I suspect the lack of a real Kiln repository is upsetting the sourcecode control integration as well...as I also use Vault at moment..vault fires checkin into fogbugz OK, but the fogbugz links seem to be suggesting repository 2 (but only 1 source repository is listed in fogbugz..the kiln one which unfortunately is counting my vault checkins)..as a result the links back from the fogbugz checkin go nowhere.

Hopefully someone knows what's going on with Kiln..(sounds like its happened in the hosted soluton b4)...

Kiln and other version control systems can exist just fine side-by-side. FogBugz will even give the Kiln source-code cross-listing its own section, separate from anything else you might have.

I'll open a ticket to help figure out your other issue.

Removed build 158 and replaced with 159..and this time managed to get the Vault integration running OK. The Kiln repository creation problem remains however. Have also been able to verify that the creation attempts create entries in the Kiln SQL table as well as file system... – Aidan G Aug 6 2010 at 8:21
