I noticed that Kiln 2.5.119 just got released to Kiln On Demand customers. What's new?

  • We have continued to improve performance across the application. This has included more SQL performance tuning, more caching, and more load optimizations.
  • The Kiln API has been improved to include support for new-style code reviews.
  • Reviews in by-file mode now warn you if you are not looking at the most recent version.
  • Cases may now be unassociated from a changeset. Just click the X button.
  • Adding cases now autocompletes based on case ID and name.
  • Various bug fixes, including a bug that would prevent Glazes from saving in certain situations.

When will 2.5.x be released for customers with local installations? – Tim Henigan Jul 5 2011 at 16:30
Kiln 2.5.X will be released to customers with local installations by the end of the month. We're trying to get in a few last features, and make the installation process go more smoothly than in previous upgrades, before we release. – Benjamin Pollack Jul 5 2011 at 17:46
kiln.stackexchange.com/questions/3683/… I'll believe it when I see it. – David Jul 7 2011 at 17:02
If you have a KOD account and want to alpha test, I can bump you Monday, @david. Otherwise, as noted in the thread you linked to, our extensions are fully compatible with Tortoise 2.X, so you can upgrade yourself. – Benjamin Pollack Jul 7 2011 at 21:14
